Matt is the Head Coach of our Mount Hutton & Rathmines facilities, as well as our Manager and Business Coordinator.

Qualification: Tennis Australia Level 2 Club Professional Coach.
Experience: 10 years coaching & 12 years playing.

Matt manages and coordinates the business of TTLM, including managing the staff, programs, facilities and stakeholders. Matt also acts as Head Coach and oversees all programs and players at our Mount Hutton and Rathmines centres.

Matt has a passion for working with kids and particularly loves teaching kids 10 years and under to develop lifelong tennis, sporting and social skills. Matt had a successful playing career, wining a dozen regional level tournaments, achieving a UTR rating of almost 8.0 and competed in a variety of competitions, stretching as far as the International Childrens Games in Canada.

As a tennis operator, Matt has had enormous success, building the Mount Hutton and Rathmines facilities from nothing at all to the successes they are now. Over the past few years Matt has been awarded 4 x Tennis NSW Awards and another 5 x finalists spots for all his hard work!

Dave is our Senior Coach at our Mount Hutton facility, delivering performance squads, private lessons and adult programs.

Dave has a passion for teaching and goes above and beyond to deliver the best programs to his players using the most advanced teaching methods and tools. He coaches a slew of junior players competing and winning regional junior tournaments and fosters a great teaching environment through his patience and vast technical knowledge.

Hayden is our Development Coach at our Mount Hutton facility, delivering our Hot Shots Junior Program for under 12s.

Hayden grew up and learnt to play tennis at Mount Hutton himself from the age of 10 with coach Matt and has fallen in love with the game since! Hayden has worked hard to develop his playing and coaching skills and is now a fully qualified coach teaching the current wave of kids the same skills that made such an impact on his life.

As a coach, Hayden thoroughly enjoys coaching all children but particularly enjoys coaching the red and orange ball kids, teaching them the shots of the game and how to rally. He also loves to play and teach pickleball!

Damon Armstrong

Damo is the Head Coach of our Belmont facility, as well as our Racquet and Restringing Specalist.

Experience: 12 years coaching & 14 years playing

Damo is our racquet and restringing specialist at TTLM, stringing 10-20 racquets on a normal week, as well as Head Coach of our Belmont facility.

Damo loves tennis and teaching people of all ages how to improve their games! He particularly enjoys working with our junior squad players develop their technique and stroke production in preparation for competition and tournament play.

Even with his enormous workload Damo still finds and loves playing competitive tennis 2-3 times a week and lead Team TTLM to win the prestigious Northumberland Adult Interclub Competition in 2022!

Josh is our Development Coach at our Belmont and Rathmines facilities, delivering our Hot Shots Junior Program for under 12s.

Josh grew up and learnt to play tennis at Belmont himself from the age of 8 with coach Laurence and has fallen in love with the game since! Josh has worked hard to develop his playing and coaching skills and is now a fully qualified coach teaching the current wave of kids the same skills that made such an impact on his life.

As a coach, Josh has a big personality and is able to befriend, entertain and engage children of all ages. He particularly enjoys coaching the orange and green ball kids, improving their skills so they learn the basic techniques, rules and tactics of the game. Lessons with Josh are always really fun!

Laurence is our High Performance Coach, running private lessons and squad sessions for our elite players..

Laurence coaches some of our regions most elite players, including numerous players rated above UTR 6.0, tournament players and the #2 ranked 10 year old in the country. On a weekly basis he runs them through a vigorous training regime to get them competing at their best.

Before coaching, Loz had an amazing playing career, being a professional ATP player in his youth and reaching a career high of ranking of 300 in the world. He has competed in the worlds biggest tournaments in a variety of different countries and knows exactly what players need to be successful on an international level.
