Sick of stair masters and treadmills? Tennis is a far more enjoyable way to get fit and improve your health, with just one hour of singles being able to burn up to 870 calories!

While you slim down your body, build up your brain! Tennis is extremely effective at boosting the neural connections in your brain by increasing alertness and promoting tactical thinking. It also sends happy chemicals to your brain which helps massively with dealing with stress, depression and even improves sleep.

Now that your body is looking thinner and more toned and your brain is getting you better grades at school, strengthen you heart, muscles and bones as well. Of all sports, tennis players have the least incidence of cardiovascular disease and studies indicate playing tennis nourishes our bones and significantly helps with muscle toning. 

To top it off playing tennis is amazing at improving social skills and bringing people together. With no age or ability limits tennis is an all inclusive sport that helps develop team work and prompts great fun with family, friends and even strangers. Laughter really is the best medicine!
